The Truth About The SpiderWeb System

Many people who are interested in a home based business have heard of the Spiderweb System. For those of you who haven't heard of it, it's a multi level marketing system that uses 22 streams of income. The main claims made by the Spiderweb System is that it's 100% free, and that you don't need to spend money to make money. The truth is that the system isn't 100% free and that you do indeed need to spend money in order to become somewhat successful. Before I continue with this, let me give you some background on myself before I continue.
I was an active member of this system in June 2008. Like many Americans, I was looking for a way to make money on the internet. One day I was on Youtube searching for ideas when I came across a video describing the SpiderWeb System; I was impressed so I signed up.
After signing up for the system, I noticed alot of things instantly. The first thing I noticed is that it's really not free. The first video in the system claims that you can either spend alot of time or alot of money. The reality is that you must spend money because the non-monetary methods they later show you don't work. These methods deal with social networking websites such as Wowza, Zenzuu, and Yuwie. The difference between these websites and other websites is that you get paid many levels deep to refer people. The idea here is to convince people on these sites to join your business and downline on the Spiderweb System. There are three main reasons why this concept of social networking doesn't work.

One, everyone on these websites are on their for the same reason as you. They are there to promote their business and to make money. You must somehow convince thousands of people that your business is the ultimate opportunity to join. Two, it's hard to find valuable leads. Social websites are seen as a leisure activity and refuse to put in much thought to this activity. Most people are on social networks to socialize, not make money. Three, it takes too long for this concept to work. You have to talk to people for a while, build up their trust, and somehow convince them to help you make money. Sounds like a lot work of doesn't it? It is. So if you have a lot of time on your hand try it out I guess.

Another thing they don’t tell you is that you have to spend 10 dollars a month on a domain name. The company you have to sign up for is Global Domains International or GDI. They are the inventers of the .ws (which stands for website) website extention (just like the .net, .org, or .com extentions). The purpose of GDI is to not only obtain a domain name, but to get people to join your downline and earn residual income. This sounds great, but it’s really hard as heck to convince people to spend money on a domain name and to also help you make money in the process. Let me further elaborate and break down how this entire system works briefly.

You join the system for free. You sign up for all the websites they tell you to join including GDI. You some how convince people to join the system through your referral link and spend money on GDI. These people then join every website you have joined through your referral link. These people are now in your downline on every site. You and others in your downline must recruit more people in order to build a bigger downline. The more people in your downline, the more residual income you can make. You have to spend hours among hours convincing people to do this entire process. People in your downline must do the same thing your doing in order to make money. See how long and complicated this process is. Also, it’s hard to cancel your membership with GDI. I spent hours on the phone trying to get through to cancel my membership. When I finally got someone on the phone, they asked me a ton of questions before my membership was finally cancelled.

I spent months trying to make this system work for me (actually, it was the entire summer of 2008 when I was in college). In the end, I wasted tons of money and time that I can never get back. It’s hard learning things the hard way, but that’s what builds wisdom that you can pass on to others. In conclusion, don’t join this website no matter what anyone says.
